## Math Olympiad Class Information

The Math Olympiad class will develop critical thinking skills and math abilities in young students. The course seeks to stimulate enthusiasm in math, while covering core concepts at the elementary school level. Emphasis will be in introducing students to higher level math, fostering creativity and ingenuity, as well as teaching problem solving strategies. Students will also be exposed to contest math problems, such as the Math Olympiad.

## Meet the Instructor

The instructor is a current student at Mission San Jose High School who excels in math. She has experience with the AMC math competitions as well as several other reknowned competitions. In the last few years, she has received numerous accolades for her mathematical achievements, including a perfect score on the AMC 8 as well as high scores on the AMC 10. She also has extensive teaching experience. Below are some of her many achievements:
